Born in small village of Tarnstead, Huginn grew up with his siblings Muninn and Astra, as well as his mother and father on their apple orchard on the edge of the village.
Growing up, he helped his family until he was 5(17) years old, where a plauge struck his town, and about 3/4ths of his town were wiped out. He and his younger sister were the only members of his family to survive.
